This Unit is the first part of the major software development project. Work started in this unit is continued and completed in the linked course IT0405. This unit and its linked unit cover the practical application of a project management methodology in the development and delivery of a major software project. In this unit, students will be working in teams to produce a project proposal, and define the system architecture and modelling. A major milestone of this unit is delivery of software requirement and design specification before proceeding with the project implementation in IT0405.
